    Whats wrong with this goal?

    The Ref isn’t indicating an indirect freekick so what he does is perfectly legal. If anyone should have been booked or sent off it is the protesting players after the goal is scored!

    I am a refereee in the Danish 3rd division mate.

    And if its a direct freekick then he can certainly do what he does.

    For it to be an indirect freekick, the ref has to keep his arm raised, and he doesn’t do that!

    My friend, I dont know if you are a referee or not but are you sure that for a direct freekick the player has the right to do that without having somebody to touch the ball first?

    Yes i am completely sure.

    For a Direct Freekick the ball does not need to be touched by another player before a goal is scored.

    For an indirect freekick, the must MUST be touched by at least one other player.

    And since the ref is NOT indicating a indirect freekick here, the goal is completely legal.

    The question is if the ref made a bad call, and he didn’t. He indicates a direct freekick, and the attacking team noticed this, and used it to their advantage!
